Commissions and classes

I make mosaics to order for homes, restaurants, schools and public buildings, often together with the architect or interior designer. Five days a week my studio in Ra’anana is also a classroom, where adults, teachers and groups come to cut glass and stone with me.

How a commission works

  1. We talk, and I come to see the space or look at your plans: the light, the size, how the place is used and the budget.
  2. I prepare a sketch and bring samples of smalti, stone, gold and glass, so you can see the materials before we decide.
  3. I make the piece by hand in my studio in Ra’anana and send you photographs while it grows.
  4. The work is installed on site or shipped insured, signed and with a certificate of authenticity.

Questions

Anything else? Nadav is happy to help.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Works are crated and shipped insured, door to door. Nadav will advise on the options and cost for your destination.
Can a piece be made in a custom size or palette?
Yes, that is the heart of a commission. Size, palette and materials are developed with you, with a sketch and material samples before work begins.
How durable is mosaic indoors, outdoors and in bathrooms?
Mosaic is one of the most enduring art forms. Materials are chosen for each setting, indoor, outdoor or wet areas, and the right installation is planned from the start.
How long does a commission take?
It depends on size and complexity. A timeline is agreed before work begins, and you receive progress updates from the studio throughout.
How do I care for a mosaic artwork?
Mosaic needs very little care: dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products. Ronit will advise on anything specific to your piece.
Is every piece signed and certified?
Yes. Every work is signed by the artist and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
How do I register for classes, and can I join mid-term?
Register through the form, by phone or on WhatsApp. Nadav will let you know which groups have places available and when you can start.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, Bit, PayPal and bank transfer.
